HHKV Aarberg

In order to meet the heat demand of Schweizer Zucker AG at its Aarberg site in Switzerland, a biomass power plant has been constructed at the same location. Martin GmbH was charged to build the wood-fired power plant.

In 2018, the existing flue gas cleaning system of the waste combustion plant SRS Ecotherm has been converted from a lime milk treatment to a conditioned dry process with hydrated lime and bicarbonate dosing.

Transhipment Plant Sedrun

On behalf of Arge Transco Sedrun, STAG engineered, built and successfully commissioned, in 2003, an extraordinary transhipment plant for bulk products such as cements, ashes and microsilica necessary for the construction of the world’s longest railway tunnel.

Power Plant Costa Rica

In this diesel-fired power plant, exhaust air is cleaned by means of two electric filters. Respectively two trough chain conveyors per filter serve for evacuating the ash. For each line, a collecting trough chain conveyor is provided receiving the ash.

The VEOLIA energy group operating at a global scale is one of the largest providers, especially in the area of municipal waste management such as waste water and sewage sludge treatment.

Water Treatment Seine Amont (Valenton)

In order to avoid overheating of dry sewage sludge, the material must be regularly shifted. For this purpose, a pressure conveying vessel provided with two outlet flaps has been installed underneath each storage silo.

Dedusting Sinter Plant South – AM Ostrava

For a steel works in Ostrava (CZ), STAG was awarded the contract to engineer, produce and supply a conveying and injection system for hearth furnace coke (HOK) and limestone (CaCO3) for the purpose of separating dioxides from the flue gases.

Steel Works Dunkirk

Based on our long and successful partnership with HAMON RESEARCH-COTTRELL and ArcelorMittal, we are periodically entrusted with the supply of ash removal plants and additive dosing systems.

Refinery Recife (Brazil)

Modernisation of the refinery Petrobras based in Northern Brazil and installation of a new flue gas cleaning facility were carried out at the beginning of 2010. As to the conveying technology, the general contractor opted for the Swiss quality provided by STAG.

In Gelsenkirchen, BP is running refinery and petrochemical plants in the city districts Horst and Scholven.

Mobile Lime/Cement Transport and Dosing Facility / Liebherr Nenzing

In 2009, Liebherr-Werke Nenzing GmbH invited STAG to develop and produce a customised solution for pneu-matic disposal of a lime/cement mixture into the drill ground.

WtE Vantaa

In 2014, a new waste-to-energy power plant equipped with two lines was built in Vantaa, Finland. The two general contractors for boilers and flue gas cleaning opted for conveying technology made by STAG.

WtE Stettin

The general contractor Rafako from Poland supplied for the first time a complete boiler and electric filter system for the waste-to-energy power plant in Stettin and therefore, opted for the expertise of STAG.

Steinmüller Babcock Environment, based in Gummersbach, is realising the construction of the new waste-to-energy power plant in San Sebastian, Spain.

STAG has been entrusted by Romelectro to provide the coal-fired power plant in Turceni, Romania, with pneumatic ash transport systems for the boilers 4 & 5.

EnBW Kraftwerke AG, Stuttgart

In the power generation plant located at Voltastrasse, STAG has implemented various pneumatic conveying systems since 1990. The last two projects have been realised in the waste-to-energy power plant in 2006 and in the coal-fired power station in 2013.

Due to its wide experience in the area of ash removal from lignite-fired power plants and to notable reference plants, STAG managed to successfully implement a project in Kosovo on behalf of  Hamon Environmental GmbH.

In 2006, STAG received the contract of Fisia Babcock Environment GmbH to equip the lignite-fired power plant (BOA ll - RWE) in Neurath, Germany, with pneumatic conveying facilities designed for the ash removal of electric filters.

In 2013, a modern coal block has been put into operation in Karlsruhe. For this project, STAG was entrusted with the engineering and delivery of the mechanical and pneumatic ash removal of the electric filter.

HKV Basel II

During the last 20 years, STAG has already supplied, on behalf of Industriellen Werke Basel (IWB), a number of conveying systems for the waste-to-energy plant and the wood-fired power plant integrated therein.

Chemiepark EMS

Terephthalic acid is a free-flowing powder serving as base material in the fabrication of plastic granulate, and is supplied to the premises of EMS by tank rail wagons.

Lignite Transhipment Brandenburg

At the site of Brandenburg, STAG has been entrusted by Rheinbraun Brennstoff GmbH to build a terminal serving for the transhipment of pulverised lignite from rail to road. STAG was responsible for the engineering, construction, assembly and successful commissioning of the overall plant.
