Since its foundation, STAG has been dealing with bulk rail wagons. Since then, we have developed solutions in this area and support Customers with the knowledge gained in the different areas of a railway wagon or its unloading.

Our rail wagon service conducted in the repair shop located at CH-7320 Sargans primarily includes the complete maintenance and repairing of bulk material rail wagons and bulk material containers as well as operations on site in case of simple repairs on freight wagons according to the VPI standard.

The rail wagons designed and equipped by STAG are backed by a performance guarantee. If functional safety and high efficiency are required, bulk material technology in rail wagons constitutes a decisive factor to ensure the performance. The concept design, specialised products and devices (components) necessary for the construction (equipment) of bulk material rail wagons are based on our experience acquired in service applications.
