Designed for crushing lumps and agglomerates in bulk materials.

By using the STAG Lump Breaker, the oversize material is crushed to a particle size defined by the design of the knives. In many cases, the material is processed before subsequent pneumatic or mechanical conveying or storage in silos.

The bulk material is fed to the Lump Breaker either metered or unmetered. The rotating knives (single-shaft or twin-shaft design) convey the bulk material to the breaker grate, which is arranged laterally on the housing wall. Due to the shearing action between the grate and the knives, the oversize material is broken.
