Fluid Channels are used in silos or bunkers where difficult-flowing bulk materials are stored. The Fluid Channel is installed with a slight incline, and thanks to the large-area aeration, even difficult-flowing products can be discharged without any issues. The number of Fluid Channels is designed to customer specifications; this can range from individual channels in the cone for small containers to a full-coverage arrangement for large-volume silos.

When the air duct (1) is supplied with air, it penetrates the bulk material evenly along the entire length of the channel through the porous base (3). In doing so, each individual dust particle is surrounded by air. These air cushions therefore eliminate the adhesion of the dust particles to one another and reduce wall friction to such an extent that the dust mixture is brought into a liquid-like state.
